Our daughter absolutely love this. It does not super absorbent but we did not buy it in order to be able to dry, we got it so that she could walk to and from the pool with something on. My daughter is a very slim 9 year old. 60 pounds and just over 4 feet. This would not work for a larger teen with any meat on their bones.My granddaughter loves it.
